Our Training Officer Julien Clancy has been busy drawing up the training schedule for the year.
We have two Pro-Tools workshops coming up over the coming weeks. The date of the Intro to Pro-Tools has been changed to Saturday 24th April (UPDATE: this is now fully booked). A date for the Advanced Pro Tools sessions is yet to be confirmed but if you would like to register your interest in attending, please contact Sean at admin@radioproducers.ie. Both workshops will be conducted by our (esteemed!) Chairman Daryl Moorhouse at the Sound Training Centre in Temple Bar.
Another exciting training event that we have planned for later this year (most likely late May/early June) is a two-day master-class with Julie Shapiro, Artistic Director of the Third Coast International Audio Festival.
In September we will also be hosting a day long workshop covering the business end of what it means to be a successful independent radio producer which will include a series of individual workshops covering such areas as legal matters, business, PR & Publicity.
